Steak Sauce and Blue Cheese Deviled Eggs

IMG_2023This one came to me as I was typing up another recipe and I wondered how my generic steak sauce would go in an egg.  Turns out it went pretty well!  I had some leftover blue cheese just lying around that I crumbled on top for a nice finish.

Ingredients:

eggs – again, my recipes tend to be for 6 with this one being no exception

1 tbs mustard

1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp vinegar

1 tbs brown sugar – packed

1 tsp pepper

Preparation:

Hardboil the eggs!  Fill a sauce pan with enough water to cover your eggs.  Bring the water to a boil and carefully drop in your eggs.  Boil them for 15 minutes.  Pour out the hot water and cover the eggs with cold water until they are cool.  Peel them, cut them in half and remove the yolks, placing the yolks in a bowl.

Mix the yolks, the mustard and Worcestershire sauce and combine.  Add the vinegar then the brown sugar and pepper.  Fill each egg half and top with a crumble or two of blue cheese.  Serve these as a side with your steaks!
